Independent Supervision

Independent Supervision enables an independent professional, like a Togetherness Family Supervisor, to supervise time arrangements between a parent and child. Insight into the parent-child relationship is gained through parent-child interactions. Information about interactions are gathered through the Supervisor’s observations.

A Togetherness Supervisor will document their observations which are then compiled into a Family Supervision Report that is written both objectively and of a high standard. This process is transparent and if required, the Supervisor will initiate open discussions with the parent. This occurs outside of supervised sessions and away from the child, and usually involves proposing strategies designed to strengthen the emotional bond. These conversations are managed respectfully, with care and consideration.
